Equipment

As far as my equipment goes it is very basic.  I have my camera body (Nikon D3300), 4 lenses (70-200mm Sigma, 18-55mm kit lens, Yongnuo 50mm Prime and a K&F Concept Fisheye lens) two of which I am yet to use, my K&F Concept tripod and bag, plus a few other accessories.

My aim has always been to improve my equipment over time so I am still working towards my goal. All of my images on this site have been taken using my Nikon D3300 with either my 70-200mm or the 18-55mm kit lens.

Nikon D3300

For what is classed as an entry level Dslr, I am very impressed with the results that I can achieve.  It feels very comfortable in the hand and the layout of the buttons/controls flows really well.

18-55mm Nikkor Kit Lens

This is the lens I use for most of my images out of the two, as I primarily shoot landscapes and open scenes.  As it is a kit lens this is probably the first that I would like to upgrade so I can get something with better quality glass and mechanics allowing me to capture those sharper images.

70-200mm Sigma F2.8

This is an amazing lens and I really enjoy using it to pick out details in the landscapes, or whatever it is I’m shooting.  The 70-200mm is the longest lens I own so it is my go-to for wildlife where possible.
